What is anti-slip decking?
Anti-slip decking is timber decking designed to provide improved grip underfoot, often using resin and aggregate inserts, strips or other slip-resistant materials.
Is timber decking slippery when wet?
Standard timber decking can become slippery when wet, especially if algae, moss or dirt builds up. GripDeck® products are designed to improve slip resistance in wet conditions.
Can existing decking be made anti-slip?
Yes. Existing grooved timber decking can often be upgraded using RetroGrip® anti-slip inserts, provided the boards are in suitable condition.
What is DeckMark Plus?
DeckMark Plus is an additional product accreditation for timber decking products that have undergone extra technical or safety evaluation.
