Do you need a site survey?
Most large scale anti slip projects start with a measured site survey. A survey usually involves recording every dimension available and can be accompanied by a photographic survey of the area involved, to act as a visual reminder of the issues.
GripDeck take site surveys very seriously, which is why we would never allow a sales man to carry them out – only our experienced engineers will carry out a survey.
Surveys will save you time and money
In our opinion, time spent carrying out a detailed survey will save time later when installing. GripDeck aim to do as much off-site work as possible, making sure the design and manufacturing process greatly reduces the time on site and levels of disruption during installation.
This saving is achieved by taking accurate measurements on site and drawing them up electronically using our CAD drawing package. Electronic or hardcopy drawings are then issued to those needing the information: Client, Architect, Designer, Supplier, etc for sign off, prior to manufacture.
DDA Audits
A disability access audit or DDA assessment is the most effective way to establish the impact that your building has on disabled people. It is also the best way to ensure that you are aware of all of your duties and responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act. It looks at all aspects of your service and provides a detailed guide in relation to both strengths and weaknesses.
GripDeck work closely with several DDA consultants to provide this service and recommend how GripDeck products can be best employed to meet some of the requirements of The DDA.
