Our RetroGrip® anti slip inserts are made from aluminium strips, filled with resin and hard wearing aggregates. Fitted with nothing more than a cordless drill / screwdriver and a line of adhesive, we really couldn’t have made it easier to add a slip resistant finish to your existing decking.

RetroGrip® comes in a choice of finishes, colours and lengths. We offer a range of profiles to suit most types of decking profiles. Please Note: Bespoke profiles, aggregate colours, aluminium finishes and lengths are all available at extra cost.

Does it need to be professionally fitted?
No … It is very simple to fit. Simply clean the decking, add a little external adhesive to the grooves, drop in the RetroGrip® inserts and if the decking is uneven or in an area of heavy footfall, finish off by screwing them into place. It really is that simple!
Does it fit all types of decking?
Yes and No … RetroGrip® inserts are designed to fit the majority of decking profiles, but it may be too narrow for some non standard decking profiles. To ensure it will fit in your decking, visit www.retrogrip.co.uk to order your free sample.
What colours does it come in?
RetroGrip® comes as standard with an aluminium finish, but it also comes with a grey powder coated finish, as shown above.
What lengths do you supply?
Our standard lengths are 1.0 and 1.2m but for larger commercial projects we can supply bespoke lengths at extra cost.
Does it come with the fixings?
Yes … GripDeck can supply plenty of external quality adhesive in cartridges and enough specialist screw fixings to secure the inserts, should your decking be uneven. We recommend using our screws, as they are extra sharp and will screw through the resin (standard screws will not). Fixings are not included in the price.
